Jinnie nods, closing his eyes as his daddy gets him into warm clothes. The clothes smell like oranges and roses, just like Daddy. Warm, soft, and oversized on them both, but it makes Jinnie look smaller in a way it doesn't for Daddy. Jinnie thinks Daddy can't look small.
"Okay, baby," Daddy says. "How about you lay down now? Daddy will make you feel good."
He wants to move fast, but it feels like a slow struggle to move right now, bundled up in warm clothes, and his daddy needs to guide him underneath the covers. But he doesn't get mad at Jinnie. Instead, he just kisses his forehead as he slides underneath the covers, allowing Jinnie to roll over and bury his face into his shoulder. Then, Daddy moves him a little more until Jinnie is lying on top of him, curling his fists into Daddy's shirt as he sinks into his deceptively strong body.
