ch. 13: As they stand outside the Alibi, Ian shrinking into his coat like a turtle retreating into its shell, Mickey feels himself waver. Feels his resolve crumble on the spot, because — fuck. Ian looks exposed, vulnerable, heartbroken. That was never the plan. (OR an 11x12 anniversary party fix-it)
ch. 14: It's been three days of this, and he just wants to be there. But Ian had curled away from his touch for the first time in a long time, so he left. Retreated out to the living room, found their coziest blanket, and grabbed his sketchbook. (OR Ian's low, and Mickey keeps his hands busy.)
ch. 15: Beautiful, Ian had called him, in the heat of their mingled breath. His hands had moved along soft, smooth skin, and he’d called him beautiful. But maybe it was the wrong word to use. The wrong time. The wrong day. (OR some body image hurt/comfort)
