Anarka Couffaine’s slogan — in the mayor race, and against Hawkmoth. It’s been four years since Hawkmoth started terrorizing Paris, and it’s been two years and five months since Anarka decided she was sick of leaving the work to a bunch of kids. Miraculous kids, but kids. Anarka’s a mother. She will never see them as anything more than teenagers with destroyed dreams.
And then Anarka’s hollow-eyed and lying at Hawkmoth’s feet as his laughter crackles from the Eiffel. Anarka Couffaine’s dead – the Mayor’s a Hawkmoth sympathizer – Ladybug and Chat Noir have a ship? – Civil War is burning.
