Summary
For a moment, Thomas thinks the swooping feeling in his stomach is due to the kiss. But when Janus pulls back with a soft hum, he opens his eyes to find the party has disappeared around them. Instead, they stand alone in the center of Janus's room; right at the foot of a truly luxurious four poster bed. Thomas chokes back a giggle.
Janus blushes all the way to the tips of his ears. "I definitely meant to do that." He says, staring wide-eyed.

He has his face half smushed into the pillow, hair curling limply across his forehead, a crease under his eye from sleeping so deeply. He appears to be drooling.

There are differences between the Light Sides and The Dark Sides, but they aren't as…black and white as they seem. For one, there's no abject morality—if you'll forgive the wordplay—to being on one side or the other. Fear can just as easily be a key component of survival, as can Doubt, as can they be things that hinder you or hold you back. Summary
Roman is ready for a new school year and is determined to make the best of it despite one new nerdy roommate and one who hates him for seemingly no reason. But Roman's dreams of a normal year get farther and farther away as memories and people from his past reappear and the wounds Roman was sure scarred over open again. As much as he tries to hide it, Roman's new roommate is too observant for his own good.
And no matter how hard he tries to run, the past always seems to catch up.
