Summary
Sirius Black screwed up. He told Severus Snape about Remus’s secret. Now, he’s been expelled from Hogwarts where he is forced to take the Dark Mark and join Voldemort’s side of the war. As time rages on, he falls darker and darker. Maybe he’ll escape. Maybe he’ll join Voldemort for good. Maybe he’ll die somehow. He doesn’t know. All he knows is that he’s starting to lose himself in a desperate attempt to survive. Everyone hurts him and nobody cares about him. The only person he can trust is himself because it’s every man for themself in the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black.

Summary
Regulus was never one to make plans, but when it came to his future with Barty, he had plenty of plans. They were going to leave their houses together, move in together and spend the rest of their lives together as best friends who became boyfriends along the way. Regulus had a plan, but the return of his older brother six years after he ran away makes all of Regulus' plans collapse.
Barty always had a plan for his future with Regulus, it was always the two against the world, best friends who would always stick together no matter what, but since Sirius' return, Barty has begun to wonder if his dreams are really going to come true.At some point, their plans start to crumble.
Evan Rosier and James Potter were not part of those plans.

“Can I what?” James looks up, dazed, before coming up again.
“Can you make sure I won’t fall off?”
Oh, he curses Sirius and his entire existence for leaving them alone together. Because apparently sharing a bed with James doesn’t make him stupid – this does. Regulus steps out of the skis to stand beside James again.
“I won’t let you fall off anywhere, love."
Or Regulus ends up on a skiing trip with Sirius' friends over the holidays and hates everything about it

Trilogy of Marauders era/Hogwarts AU + after school (1975-1982), focused fully on James and Regulus POVs. Canon-divergent (adjacent if you squint), but the path to defeating Voldemort lies not in the prophecy but in Regulus' hands.
