Regulus prepares himself. He tries to even his breathing as he asks the question, maybe the most important question he ever will ask. “If I’m dead and this is the afterlife, which one am I in? Is this Heaven or Hell?” He knows the kind of person he was on Earth, he knows where he belongs but if somehow, someway he managed to get by-

In its most basic form, there is a Good Place and there is a Bad Place.” That’s all it takes for Regulus’ heart to grind into his ribs as if it’s trying to escape. The pounding is relentless as time seems to slow. An eternity passes before Evan continues, “You’re in the Good Place Regulus. You are okay, you’re in the Good Place.”

Regulus Black awakes to find himself in the afterlife. After the life he lived he knows where he belongs, he knows how this should go. When he is told he has been put into The Good Place he realizes he must find a way to earn his spot.
