Summary
Crown prince Xie Lian asks General Hua as a heat partner to fulfil the law of companionship which exists in Xianle. General Hua Cheng is shocked, but will rise to the occasion for dianxia, only to be further surprised when Xie Lian explains to him that he spends most of his heats reading books or playing cards. Xie Lian in turn, feels very strange about the fact that his heats, which have previously been about comfortable blankets, good food and company, suddenly takes on a sexual edge as he spends it with Hua Cheng.

Reo leans back into himself and, keeping his voice rigid, speaks, “I’m willing to do anything.”
Finally, the demon perks up at that.“...Anything?”

It was that time of year when each District was forced to offer up one girl and one boy as tributes to be sent to the slaughterhouse known as the Hunger Games, just to hide its brutality that has nothing to do with a real game, because in the arena, people didn’t play. They died. All this was done in the name of reminding Panem of the Capitol’s “kindness and forgiveness” toward past rebels, and of the absolute power it still held over the nation.
Nagi didn’t know much about the centuries before the wars, or about the ancient tribes that had once roamed the earth—but he was fairly certain that sadistic rituals like this could be traced back to some ancient, barbaric civilization.
