Summary
Mildly self indulgent reader and dottore fic I started when I got sick, then my sickness got worse and I couldn't continue it until now. Low-key was like coughing up blood and almost died but it's ok. Fic is a little anticlimactic, but a silly sick fic made for comfort (?) nonetheless.

Summary
Ninth Fatui Harbinger, Pantalone, is left injured when assailants break into the banking quarters of the palace. As the Harbinger's Doctor, Dottore along with the aid of his Segments see to his recovery; discovering the horrendous scars the pristine Banker keeps hidden away under his fine clothing.
Dottore comes to the conclusion that there might be more to his co-worker then first meets the eye.

‘’We… we should go a different way…’’ the Banker finally stuttered, his head snapping round looking for an alternative route before they were spotted.
‘’Nonsense!’’ scoffed the Doctor, beamingly almost evilly as a plan came into his head, then without warning he grabbed the Regrators hand in his and made a b-line strait for the green haired, snake-wearing pharmacist.
Pantalone hissed under his breath and tried desperately to pull away, only to have to suck it up as he was dragged along right into the path of his brother.
‘’Ah!’’ beamed the Doctor loudly, getting the green haired mans attention. ‘’Pray excuse me, but I must ask –you are the renowned owner of the Bubu Pharmacy, a certain Dr.Baizhu himself, are you not?’’ he smiled with pearly white shark like teeth, Baizhu looking suspiciously at the strange man addressing him then glaring at his brother who kept his eyes fixated on the floor.
‘’Indeed I am…’’ answered Baizhu looking rather strained ‘’…I am assuming by your mask sir that you are a member of the Fatui…?’’
‘’Ah, not just any member! Allow me to introduce myself as Lord Dottore, sometimes better known as ‘The Doctor’ –the Second of her majesty the Tsaritsa’a Harbingers!’’
Realising just how high up and dangerous the strange looking masked man was, Baizhu almost seemed to choke on nothing.
‘’But enough about me!’’ smiled the Doctor gesturing to Baizhu ‘’as soon as I saw you I just had to stop and share my thanks! Your book published on the benefits of extracting the poison from Deadly Nightshade to counter the effects of other poisons? A marvellous read! You wouldn’t believe how many civilians I got through just trying to replicate your theory!’’
‘’C… civilians…? Getting through…?’’ stuttered the green haired man feeling rather faint.
‘’Ah yes! You see quite a few died when too much was administered! But don’t you worry; I won’t be stealing all the credit! You played a good part in those deaths too my dear pharmacist, you needn’t be so modest! Oh? What do you suddenly look so pale for? Hey, my love, does he look pale to you? Oh! I must say, I didn’t notice before but don’t you two look similar!’’
‘’Huh?’’ echoed both Baizhu and Pantalone drawing their attention back to the blue haired Doctor.
‘’Ah, how thoughtless of me! Dr Baizhu, this is my partner, Lord Pantalone, Ninth of her majesties Harbingers. My love; this is a pharmacist who works on herbal remedies’’ beamed Dottore, apparently showing Pantalone off by bringing his jewel encrusted fingers to his lips and gently kissing them.
‘’Har… Harbinger…?’’ choked out Baizhu looking beyond shocked at his brother.
‘’Oh! I almost forgot about the carriages! Come come my dear! Excuse our sudden departure Dr Baizhu; maybe next time we could take tea together and discuss painful deaths? Until then!’’ he beamed with an over the top bow; wrapping his arm protectively around the Bankers middle and steering him away.
