He watched the country explode with proposals and weddings after marriage equality passed, and he was happy for all those other people, if a little bittersweet. Sometime around one a.m., Home wandered up to the second floor living quarters and found Peach sitting on the floor of the little balcony there, overlooking the restaurant and party.
“You okay?” Home asked as he sat beside Peach.
Peach whirled on him, glazed eyes serious. “Tell me. What makes me an idiot?”
