Summary
For most college students, the summer after freshman year is a prime time to goof around, host parties, and go on whirlwind trips. But if you’re Dean Winchester, it’s back to your sleepy hometown in Kansas for another summer of playing Monopoly with your mom and little brother and maybe making the drive up to South Dakota to see some family friends.
Except things have changed for Dean: he’s bringing a friend home, and it’s not just anyone.
Cas Milton is Dean’s best friend, roommate, study partner, carpool buddy, and…well, at this point, just about everything. Outrunning a restricted childhood and judgmental family, Cas needs a place to stay for the summer, and Dean offers up his guest room. At first, it seems like this summer is going to be the best one ever–until an accident reveals that there’s more tragedy to Cas’s childhood than Dean thought, and it may be catching up with him.

Summary
Never before has Dean Winchester taken a vacation, especially one so far away from home. On the way to Florida for a Christmas getaway, he and his brother Sam happen upon an unusual sight. Taking care of a recently expelled angel wasn't anywhere in his plans, but getting to know Castiel is almost too easy. But then again, in a life fraught with the tough hunts and even tougher monsters, he'll take what he can get. It also helps that Castiel is all too eager to enjoy humanity as well.

Summary
On the road, Dean has no responsibilities except to his car and his stomach. Baby’s tires hammer across the pavement--singing their freedom--and it’s as familiar to him as the decades-old Rock and Roll mixed tapes blasting through the speakers, and just as loved. The open road is the only place he has ever belonged.
Then there’s Castiel. It was never meant to be a permanent thing, this… whatever it is between them. Dean picks him up on impulse--a hitchhiker along the side of the highway. He doesn’t know where he came from, only that like Dean, he doesn’t know where he’s going. So they drive and before long, Castiel becomes Cas, the best friend Dean’s ever had.
He didn’t anticipate running into Cas’s long-lost kid along the way... Or maybe, that only opens the door to the best part.
