Maybe it could help you get used to the structure of this home.” Naven offered politely with his usual ever-closed eyes.“Yes, that would be great, friend Naven!” Naven did a small flinch, the word ‘Friend’ coming out loud. Rick’s eyebrows raised and he seemed apologetic. “I’m sorry, some people say I can’t control my volume well!” He added, a little less loud.
Wow, Naven thought. This guy is odd! He seems friendly though, so I shouldn’t be hard on him. Naven said this internally, as if he ever had the guts to be harsh on anyone in the first place.
“It is no trouble at all! Just be sure to keep it down, there are people living next to us after all.”
“Huh, so… can they hear our conversations through the walls?” Rick walked up to a wall, placing his left ear against the plaster and making conversation with the wall to see if anybody from the other side would respond. Naven chuckled seeing all of this, shaking his head.
This is going to be interesting, he thought.

Summary
