Summary
Jim’s train of thoughts was suddenly cut short as Bular reached him. “Today you die, Trollhunter,” he rumbled. “Yet another Trollhunter killed on this bridge. How…pathetic. The amulet never should have chosen you.”
He raised his two swords and Jim cowered, shielding himself with his trembling arms as he prepared to meet his fate.
Bular’s blade glinted as it came down, and Jim squeezed his eyes shut—
The blades hit, crashing down with the force of a full grown Gumm-Gumm, but…they didn’t quite hit where he expected.
His shoulder and head screamed in pain simultaneously and while Jim knew he shouldn’t scream to not give the satisfaction of his pain to Bular, the sheer agony made him cry out loudly.
“Expecting the sweet release of death already, Trollhunter?“ Bular chuckled. “Oh, no. I intend to drag out your death as long as I can.”
Or, this is an AU where the fight with Bular and episode 13 went a whole lot worse because Jim had only had like two weeks training and he had never even fought anyone before he started training.
Also, because I like hurting Jim, and this seemed like a reasonable way to do it.

Summary
AU where the hearthstone is fine after the battle with Gunmar and Wizards and the movie never happened.
I basically didn't like that Jim turned into a human or left Arcadia and was curious about how the people in Arcadia would react to Jim being a troll now.
I also wanted to see more of him adjusting to being a troll and figuring out how to exist as a troll.
This is just me fixing all the things I didn't like about the ending

"Driving inside a gyre wheel with no seatbelt was not pleasant. Especially in the darklands, while the wheel was being driven by Draal of all people, with an angry horde of Gumm-Gumms following them.
But still better than being in the darklands alone. Jim found himself relaxing in the harsh seat, feeling hope bloom again for the first time. But a pang of sharp pain made him sit upright again. It wasn’t over, was it?"

An AU where Jim has been lost in the darklands for months, and Claire and Toby never got a glamour mask. No one bothered to tell Barbara that her son was being held in a dark dimension by an abusive tyrant troll. Not sure if that's better or worse.
This was supposed to be a oneshot, but I guess some stories just really want to be told. Will be slow and very sporadic to update...
