It was hard to tell past the yellow acid surrounding it and grayish spit coughed down its front, but Uzi was pretty sure that was a murder drone chained to the pod's wall. It was lying on the floor, steaming slightly from the puddle of its acid, but its visor was glitching so badly Uzi wasn't even sure it was aware.

The unwilling duo pair up to deal with their respective trauma and prove their worth, even if needing to grow a little attached to each other (for better or worse).
