Summary
Sometimes a second chance is all that one needs. To correct one's own flaws, to stop past mistakes. to repeat cherished moments, to resolve regrets and to take back their life with a new perspective. No more Naïve any longer.
When Wei Wuxian finds himself in the past for no actions of his own, he decided that he wants to use this chance. To be far more obedient, to distance himself from associations that hurt him and to live his own life as different from his original one as much as possible. It takes him a while to get to a resolution and even longer to resolve his past. But he does.
The circumstances on how he came back in time are certainly suspicious. First there's a few assholes to get rid of though!
This is essentially the main fic I wrote based off Once more, if only... It primarily revolves around WWX but if I play around with POV changes I'll update the tags. According to the chapters the tags will be updated.

He considers that he might be in space but he feels gravity where he stands, and the scene that lies before him with broken images of various landscapes in space reminds him of how it looks between worlds- yet not. What he does know is that he was brought here by someone or more likely something .

A mysterious character, a powerful array and a dying wish. What could've been might not seem as complicated but the question stays:
What would happen if one knows a future that will never be? And does a change make a difference if the future that will never be has already scarred someone?
Alternatively, this is a time travel fic where WWX wakes up in his 12 y body after dying in the Burial Mounds. The story is from the perspective of others so it doesn't have key details as to what actually happened but the readers can guess!!

This is something that we worked on the last week, trying to really pin down a reference for where things are in Scum Villain because I’m very visual when it comes to that and I like fantasy worlds to have maps. There is a map that accompanies this piece. This piece may be updated and improved based on reception from the fandom and the general accuracy of it since some of it comes from many different references.
Originally this document has footnotes, because there isn’t a function for that on AO3 I will try my best to list them out at the end in the notes section
