    She pushes the window open, pulls herself up so she’s sitting on the ledge, swivels around, drops the heels she’d been carrying onto the floor with a thunk.

    And then the bedside light clicks on.

    Nile sneaks out (is it sneaking out, no-one's been all that clear on that point - anyway) to blow off some steam, but when it comes to sneaking back in, she picks the wrong window.
