Eito watches Takumi’s face as he licks his lips again and sighs. He looks up, eyes wide and vulnerable.
“No,” he says, quickly. “No, I want… I…” He squeezes his eyes shut. “Is it so wrong to... I’m so sick of being here, I want to go back, but I don’t…” His eyelashes are still wet with tears. A few droplets stick to them as he blinks rapidly and rubs at his face. “…I want to forget about– about everything. About everything we lost when we came here, about— about—”
Takumi’s voice shatters. He takes a few moments to breathe, and Eito is forced to endure the sight of his chest rising and falling unevenly. “A… about Karua. J- Just for a bit! I don’t want to... I just want to forget everything, and… feel good for a little while.”
Takumi wants to forget. Not forever, just for a bit; and, well, Eito is the only person he can really go to with this. As much as he likes Nozomi, he'd just feel entirely disgusting (and besides, it wouldn't help at all, considering the… problem).
Eito has thoughts about this, but he's keeping them to himself.
