Who was God anyway? And if He loved all His creations, why punish them for something like this? Lando kissed boys, and at the end of the day he knew the God he believed in would have no reason to torture His own creation, His own beloved for that. Why should he apologize if he was meant to sleep with a boy instead of a girl? What was wrong with choosing a path in that vast world God had given him, even if everyone else called it wrong?

That set Lando off immediately. He hissed under his breath, furious, but careful not to shout inside the library.
“By a fucking minute?!”
“Irresponsible,” Oscar said flatly, as if Lando’s outburst barely registered.
Or, Lando Norris, a fourth-year business management student and captain of the university’s soccer team, is one failure away from being benched, which could also jeopardize his graduation. Oscar Piastri, on the other hand, is a third-year medical student, top of his class, a certified nerd, and brilliant enough to tutor. A university scholar that tutors for the money.
Oscar is Lando’s tutor. Lando, used to getting away with everything, money, a stellar reputation, a name that opens doors, has never had to struggle to stay on top. Oscar despises people like him. He hates that someone can coast through life on charm and wealth while others, like him, have to work relentlessly for every scrap of success. Lando embodies everything Oscar loathes.
