Summary
When the muggles found out about the Wizarding World, things went about as good as one could expect. Meaning, within three months, open war was declared on any Wizarding enclaves that could be found.
Three years into the war, which is more or less a hunt for the last surviving magic wielders, Hermione finds an insane idea. If the world has truly gone to shite, all she, Harry, Ron, Ginny and their three surviving children had to do was leave.
Ensued a third break into the Ministry of Magic, now controlled by muggles and a mad dash into the veil.
