The grand ballroom was a ginormous room with parquet flooring, and a chandelier the size of two or three of him, so big it could fit five of their biggest dining tables and all the chairs with room to spare.
Without apparent cause, he gasped.
Before he made it under that big chandelier, he stumbled, toppling off of his board and tumbling harshly onto the intricate woodwork.
Suddenly dizzy, he laid there, his bruises settling into the hard wood where he’d landed. He couldn’t breathe. As he tried to get up, he realized he couldn’t escape this room by himself. He couldn’t get out of here at all.

Everyone knows that the way to check if someone is Quirkless is to see if they have two joints in their pinky toe. It's the sign that the person has no Quirk- that they haven't reached the next stage in evolution that most people have.
However, most people don't realize that there are *other* differences between the Quirked and the Quirkless, other parts that haven't evolved.Or: 5 times 1-A thinks Midoriya is dying and/or sick, and the 1 time the truth is (partially) spilled.
