Summary
Susie’s eyes narrowed as she stopped chewing to shoot her Captain a withering look. “Gotta say, sure is a shame your folks never enrolled you in any English classes.” She paused to swallow a mouthful of greasy meat. “Maybe then you’d actually speak a language anyone could understand.”
Kris nodded slowly, as if actually giving her words some real thought. “Only language I’ve ever mastered is listening.”
The Detective let out a slow, mournful sigh. “You’re a pain in my ass, Dreemurr. I really musta pissed the Chief off somethin’ bad if being stuck in a car with a freak like you is my first assignment.”
Captain Kris Dreemurr and Detective Susie Roberts are tasked with routine surveillance of an abandoned school, now a meeting place for Hometown's criminal underworld. Their first assignment together will test them in unexpected ways as the lingering trauma of the human's past will begin to manifest itself once more.

Despite their carefully laid plans and best of intentions, the unthinkable has come to pass: The Roaring. Lost in an unforgiving realm of eternal night, Kris and Susie's friendship will be tested when the arrival of a strange new denizen threatens to reveal Kris's darkest secrets.
This story is based on a possible interpretation of what a Post-Chapter 5 Roaring would look like, and a what-if scenario of how Kris's secrets would come to light and fracture the team, featuring a character not fully introduced to Deltarune at the time of publishing. -

Summary
With Deltarune Chapter 3 and 4's release, and with the uptick of Krusie shipping since then, I wanted to pay homage to one of my favorite character dynamics of all time; Kris and Susie.
This is an essay and compilation of all the Kris and Susie moments in Deltarune thus far, analyzing their dynamic as well as their characters individually and why I personally believe Krusie is such a good ship. Lots of rambling and brainrot ahead.
