“Come? Come where?”
That’s a stupid question. Steve moves for the stairs without looking back. “If you make me say it, you can sleep on the floor.”
Or: A week of Steve letting Danny sleep in his bed because… well, better not think about the hows and whys too much.

Alone is probably not something he should be right now. But the thing is, he’s in such a bad place in his head right now, he’s in such a horrible dark awful place, that he knows he’s not fit for human consumption. He’ll say something, he’ll do something. He’ll be ugly in ways he won’t be able to take back, ugly like his soul feels right now. Black, like his heart feels right now.
