Despite being the subject of myth and rumor, the Does were an ordinary couple. No matter what danger the world threw at them - including the disappearances of Admins, an infection slowly eating away at them, and even coming close to death itself multiple times - they knew they'd be alright. Because they always had each other.
Though, when John Doe wakes up knowing he is already dead, alone, eternally damned... knowing his life is to be molded like clay for the whims of some malevolent Entity... he will not let himself break. He will try to survive, stay true to himself. For her sake.Or, John Doe's gradual transformation into the monster currently in-game. May not have the happiest ending.

C00lkidd starts a group chat for all the killers. He is the one making the rules, and everyone else has to follow them. The issue is that he doesn't know how to use the internet. Nobody does, apparently.
They also don't understand what the Spectre's plan in doing this at all is supposed to be.(partially a chat fic, but also with some "slice of life" moments with my favorite creature killers just being cute)

The currently in-game killers (Jason, C00lkidd, John, 1x, and Noli as of writing) have all escaped the Forsaken realm and are besties!! (except noli) Yippee!! Except they’re all extremely bad at acclimating with the Robloxian realm, especially with how they all kinda used to be super evil and are universally feared. At the same time they are doing totally normal stuff like shopping, watching movies, hanging out, experiencing The Horrors, etc. Is basically just crackfic treated seriously. Takes place in the 3-4 year range after their escape.

Three years ago, the Spectre trapped twenty-one people in a limbo. Split into two teams, survivors and killers, they were forced into death games daily for its amusement. After so, so long, most of them had already lost hope of freedom, objective morphing from finding a way out to survival.
Until 1x1x1x1 wakes up with strange, foreign memories. Memories that clashed with everything she believed since stepping foot into this place – yet, deep down inside, she knew they were right.
The fragile, volatile peace built in the last few years shatters. New alliances are made, old ones rekindle, and a new plan for escape forms, all as the Spectre’s ironclad hold loosens. But questions still remain.
Who is the Spectre?
Why was it running these death games?
And why was it weakening now?

The take on Retro Robloxia lore in this is real neat!! as well as the nostalgia appeal having actual moral and emotional depth instead of just "boohoo i miss ye olden days where roblox was actually creative" which, idk, i think that nuance is cool and something that's rarely seen in roblox-related fics.Also john doe
