Despite her wealthy background, Caitlyn worked hard to prove that she was more than her last name. She became an enforcer, working hard to serve justice alongside her wife, Maddie Nolen. And yet, she felt truly unfulfilled. Caitlyn wanted more with her life and she was tired of being handed bullshit cases just because no one wanted to take her seriously.
So when the opportunity came for Caitlyn to take on a much bigger case, she was ready.
The Hounds of Zaun were a ruthless gang, one that terrorized the Undercity and filled it with drugs and violence. And some of that was beginning to spill right into Piltover. Determined to take them down once and for all, the objective was to go undercover and destroy the operation from within. Caitlyn immediately suggests herself. Getting the job, Caitlyn knows she can't afford to fuck it up. This was her one chance.

Anyone would have told Caitlyn to stop this exchange right here, that it was a breach of decorum to have this bold and crass American address her in such a way. And yet, Caitlyn found herself suppressing a smile, drawn into this strange late-night conversation as if it were perfectly normal, as if she regularly had tea with women who carried themselves without a care in the world.
