Regulus rolls his eyes, but Sirius can see the newfound determination in his eyes. And so, the two brothers look out at the city, the city that had saved them from their family. Each canal and trash filled alley. Each weapon shop and lift. Each face, tired and broken and bruised. This was their home.
“One day, Reg, the whole city, topside and bottom, is gonna know our names.”
Sirius made that promise, and in the end, he never broke it.
