Ming Fan hadn’t wanted to go to Qing Jing.
If he had a choice in the matter? Ming Fan would be halfway across the world by now as a rogue cultivator researching flora and fauna. Then the System came along with its stupid ultimatums and Ming Fan had found himself halfway up a mountain digging a very deep hole.
“This one.” Ming Fan abruptly blinked up to meet narrowed eyes. A pale green hand fan. A sneer.
Then the figure was gone- replaced by the towering figure of Sect Leader Yue Qingyuan. “Congratulations, shizhi. You may begin ascending the rest of the mountain.”
Yue Qingyuan left as quickly as he came and Ming Fan was left baffled sitting in his dirt hole.
…Wait. Had that been the Scum Villain?!
