“It was an accident!” Stiles continued, trying desperately to explain that this was all a huge misunderstanding and that the Demon clearly had to cut him some slack here.
It didn’t seem like he would be getting his wish, because the Demon’s annoyance melted into frustrated incredulity and he said dryly, “You summoned me by accident.”
“Yes!” Stiles insisted.
“How is that even possible? How do you accidentally summon a Demon?”
“You know, by accident!” Stiles argued.
“So you accidentally drew the summoning sigil into the floor, and you accidentally had an offering available, and you accidentally stood in the circle while accidentally reading the summoning spell?” the Demon asked dryly.
Okay, well when it was said like that, Stiles could understand the skepticism.

What the hell was going on?
He immediately went to YouTube to check his video, and the first thing he noticed was that his subscriber count had indeed changed, just as he’d suspected.
Except not in the direction he’d anticipated.
When he’d gone to bed, he’d still been a few thousand subscribers away from one million. Something like seventeen or eighteen thousand away.
He was now staring at his subscriber count sitting at over one million by a fair margin.
“What the fuck?” he whispered to himself, and went to look at his newest video about AllAboutMischief. It was sitting at three-hundred thousand views in the first hour, and had more comments than he’d ever gotten on any of his videos since he began uploading.
“What the fuck?” he whispered again, a little more desperately.

Summary
After learning about a secret about Magnus' past with the Lightwood family, the group goes to face Valentine on the Morning Star. Things between Magnus and Alec become tense with the reminders of immortality and the vast history of the Warlock that Alec is still unaware of. Going into battle does nothing to relieve this tension. Alec will do anything to save Jace, and Magnus must take action to save Alec....even if it means revealing just how powerful he is and opening himself up to more questions of his past and heritage.
