Summary
Returning to Hogwarts for an eighth year wasn't exactly what Harry Potter was counting on, but between his best friends, boyfriend, and arch nemesis all returning, it doesn't feel like he has much choice. The good news and the bad news is that everything has changed. The news no one wants to talk about is that the kids are most definitely not alright.
Featuring unwanted group therapy, unhealthy coping mechanisms, magical marijuana, and the Hot Neville Agenda we all deserve.

Summary
Shane only indulged in coffee occasionally and he tried to ignore that Rozanov had gotten his coffee right, despite only seeing him order it maybe twice.
“Thanks, Rozanov. And I have to get here early. We both do. So we can plan.”
“You have binder of plan. Plan never changes. Plan is laminated.” To drive his point home, he shook the binder that contained a few different practice schedules, all laminated and in order of priority.
Shane huffed and sipped his coffee to avoid the glint in Rozanov’s eyes. The team slowly trickled in, which gave Shane relief. Being alone with Rozanov lately felt like a battle. He got flustered more easily than he used to and Rozanov could tell. In fact, he’d go out of his way to make it worse. So he tried to avoid being alone with him at all costs, to hide his inability to make eye contact and his deepening blushes - at least until he could sort out what was happening in his head.
Or; Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov are drafted to the Ottawa Centaurs as rookies.

Summary
“Alexei, I fucking told you to never call me again, you fucking piece of—”
“Am I speaking with Ilya Grigorievich Rozanov?”
Ilya went silent immediately. That was not his brother’s voice. Nor was it Katia’s, his sister-in-law. It was an aristocratic, cold voice. He went completely still.
“Yes.”
“I’m calling from the Child Services Department, Ilya Grigorievich,” the woman continued, and Ilya frowned deeply. “Your brother Alexei Rozanov and his wife died yesterday in a car accident.”
Twice in his life, Ilya had felt like this. The ice around his heart melted just enough for the numbness to vanish and give way to a sharp, stinging pain. It lasted only two seconds before he managed to compose himself. He didn’t want to feel anything for Alexei, so even if Katia’s death carried a trace of sadness—she was a mess, but she always tried to smile at him and cook warm meals for him when he visited Russia—, he dismissed the feeling entirely.
“So what?”
“You are the only living family member of their daughter. Your brother named you as her legal guardian, Ilya Grigorievich.”
