Lan Wangji leaned forward to lick the sweat off of Wei Wuxian’s neck. “I am fucking you,” he said as Wei Wuxian started to whine.
He took his hand away, blinking his way back into the jingshi. Lan Wangji was laying there as unruffled as ever.
“You really like the begging, huh?” Wei Wuxian said weakly.
Lan Wangji’s smile was so warm, his eyes so soft. He said, “Wei Ying’s voice is pleasing to me.”

Summary
They lost the sunlight in their lives and then they lost the one who bore that light into the world. Jingyi, Zizhen, Rulan and Sizhui make up a plan to fix their present by traveling back in time to the beginning and making sure that their beloved Qianbei has a much better life and doesn't die so young. Certain events are set in the Cosmos, but that doesn't mean they cannot change the outcome. Summary
General Wei Xiang was not the most popular god, necessarily, but he was a well-loved god nonetheless.
He was a god for everyone, and he treated all equally.
His official domain is the god of judgment, he would sit next to the Jade Emperor, watching both gods and humans from heaven, and enact justice on the Emperor's behalf.
No one wanted to get on his bad side.
Wei Wuxian had always felt a certain kinship with this god who shared a similar name to him, albeit with different characters.

Alternatively: Wei Wuxian was the mortal form of Wei Xiang, who was undergoing a trial as a mortal without his godly powers or memories until his death.

Summary
Broken Zither Snapped Strings. The Light that Casts Long Shadows, Ender of Four Clans, Hanguang-Jun, Lan Wangji. He is known for driving the elders of his own clan to madness, destroying the Nie sect’s seat of power, terrorizing the leader of the Jiang sect, and annihilating the Jin main line. With those acts, he leveled the four great sects, and with them the inheritance-based structure of the Jianghu itself. He is said to be the Yiling Patriarch’s last and greatest act of revenge, born from the ashes of the Burial Mounds to punish those who brought about the necromancer's fall, an unholy purveyor of a cruel and merciless justice.
Of course, what is said is not always to be believed.
As he lays dying from 33 strikes of the discipline whip in the Burial Mounds, Lan Wangji learns Wei Wuxian escaped his tragic fate by ascending as a god. As a result, Lan Wangji decides to stick around. His own death notwithstanding.
