ever since his kouhai/roommate confessed to him, he didn't have much of an idea if anything Kagiura says is related to that romantic matter, a reason why he is so persistent about sharing a normal umbrella with him is because Hirano might accidentally give him false hope—the last thing he would ever want to do. Although the edges of his wet blazer and pants that is slowly spreading is making his thoughts go in a way of maybe it wouldn't be so bad.

Now, they’re having a late-night date at the beach to properly celebrate finishing moving all their stuff in without killing each other. Kagiura is excited, because they’ve never been to the beach together before and it’s a new setting to observe Hirano in.
He’s currently doing mental gymnastics over whether or not it’s appropriate to ask if he can hold Hirano’s hand.
