Summary
Canon-era AU. With the threat from Morgana and her forces growing by the day, coupled with the legalisation of magic in Camelot still in its infancy, Arthur feels that his kingdom is floundering. He agrees to a political marriage with Merlin, the young leader of the Druids, in order to secure Camelot's future and to ally himself with the one person who might be able to defeat Morgana. A marriage of convenience soon starts to become something more, and Arthur finds himself learning things about himself and his kingdom he would never have imagined, while forging a genuine connection with someone who seems to truly understand him.

With the winning combination of a car fast enough to challenge Arthur's, a new driver who was born to the wheel, and a sharp-edged strategy, Merlin is an opponent who is ready to challenge Arthur's winning streak. It becomes even more complicated when things start to become tense between the two championship contenders, and Arthur has to fight to keep his head in the race.
