Agustus clenched his fist, his overgrown nails cutting into the meat of his flesh, tiny droplets of blood staining the white of the carpet. He ripped through the room, leaving a trail of devastation in his wake, and stormed over to where Thomas was standing in an instant.
He snatched the soft fabric of Thomas’s bandana. As he tugged on the cloth, forcing Thomas closer, hot breaths mixed in the already cramped space; he was close enough to smell the tang of cheap party beer lingering through his breath. “Did you plan this? Did you put Stella and Magic up to this?”
“... No–no, of course not,” Thomas mumbled, breath catching in his throat; even though he pleaded that this wasn’t one of his manipulations, the rhythmic rapping of his foot failed to cease; he was still hiding something. “You’re lying.”
Or: Thomas and Agustus are forced to play seven minutes in heaven together a month after their falling out.

Summary
Three weeks after Pangi stumbles home, half-dead, things fall back into relative normalcy. They don't talk about it. They put a potted-plant over the blood-stain in their carpet, and they don't talk about it.
The two of them never intend to get into any trouble at all, really. They don't ever go looking for any these things, those aforementioned things just happen to find them.
The body they find inside of an abandoned building is one of those things.
Worse, the body has a pulse.
Even worse than that, Pili thinks he might look familiar.
