When a tentative peace is reached, the King of Heaven gives his brother and the King of Hell his youngest son in marriage to solidify the treaty. Prince Aziraphale, though he should have been yet another proud alpha in a long line, was instead a gentle soul, misunderstood and largely ostracized by his family. And the gods knew Hell’s omega Prince Crowley was an embarrassment; the black sheep of his family.
They would do their duty, but with hundreds of years of animosity between their two kingdoms, peace is tenuous at best.
