Summary
“It’s a jedhamtu. Sometimes they call them a nightmare,” the healer said, “And it was created by your soulmate.”
“A nightmare?” Obi-Wan asked, “But…I thought nightmares were only created…how is that possible for someone who’s just been born?”
Soulmates aren't a sure thing. Some people had them and some didn't. Obi-Wan likes to think he's one of the lucky ones, even if lucky wouldn't be the word he would use for the person he will one day fall in love with. In a world where soulmates can split their soul in times of extreme trauma and send them for their soulmate to protect in the form of a jedhamtu, or nightmare creature, Obi-Wan can't help but wonder what happened to the other half of his soul that Obi-Wan received Amila the day his soulmate was born.

Summary
Obi-Wan ignored him. “Please tell me he at least learned to cook rice before trying Iridonian rainbow-finned shark.” He said the last part in an almost perfect imitation of Qui-Gon. He’d even had the tick down on ‘Iridonian.’
“He didn’t set off any smoke alarms when he tried to cook it last week,” Anakin offered, then said quietly, “I can’t believe he tried seafood.”
“I can,” Obi-Wan muttered darkly, and then walked off without explaining what he meant.
Anakin sighed. He was still trying to get used to everyone doing that.

Summary
“I wasn’t aware you knew Senator Levu,” Windu spoke cautiously, leaning forward in his seat as well.
Anakin shakes his head, but his body feels slow as if he’s moving through that awful jello that the GAR thinks is dessert. “I had a dream about her last night,” he says numbly.
The sense of dread hollows out his chest cavity and doesn’t seem intent on leaving. Every inch of Anakin’s being is screaming to run. His skin itches like he’s about to be thrown into jail as if he killed this senator.
“A dream you had?” Master Yoda speaks for the first time since Anakin entered, ears twitching in concern. “Like your mother, this dream?”
Anakin shakes his head again, “No. No, I… at least I didn’t think so. She was scared; she was running away from something, but I didn’t see what it was.”
“What were you doing in this dream?”
I think I was the one chasing her. “Just watching.”
