Summary
In a low tone, Nikador spoke, “And just what exactly are you doing here upon Kephale’s altar?”
Phainon's pale lashes fluttered, catching the light with grace. It was truly remarkable how such an innocent face could conceal the deepest desires of men within. Had it not been for all this coquettish meandering, presenting himself as part of a fertility ritual to the gods, he might have seemed entirely angelic.
“Why, performing my nightly prayers, as every faithful servant should.”
Amidst the eternal hunt against his sworn rival, Nikador stumbles upon a unique offering to the gods and rightfully stakes his claim.

Summary
Phainon felt something—or rather someone—shift against his back, warm and firm, and barely muffled down a surprised yelp.
Oh no, he thought, dread filling his chest once more.
As if blacking out and enduring violent hangover symptoms wasn’t enough, he’d also apparently joined someone else in bed last night. Someone else who happened to smell of sweet wine, who left a familiar nose curving against his nape while a muscular, kingly body embraced him from behind.Or; Phainon has some small regrets, and a number of doubts, after waking up in bed with his best friend.

When Mydei comes home for the summer hoping to rekindle an old friendship, it becomes adamantly clear that Phainon has something very different in mind.

Summary
Instead, a fake, polite smile settles on his lips to hide his anger and fear. “You believe so, Lord Krateros?” He asks in a soft, gentle voice. Pliant, like they expect omegas to be. “I do not want to disappoint him.”
“Well, you seem to be a pleasant young omega.” Krateros says with a nod. “Do not get in the king’s way, and you will get along with him quite fine.”
The response makes him want to scoff. It only makes him want to be more of an inconvenience to the king, as a form of petty revenge for plucking him out of his comfortable life and ruining his future. Surely the mad man could only take so many snarky remarks and cold cups of coffee before he sends Phainon away to live in a lonely citadel far from the city, right?
He continues keeping up his pleasant smile, before nodding, keeping his pleasant smile on his lips. “Thank you, Lord Krateros. That is a comforting thought.”
or
A war has hit Aedes Elysiae. Threatened and ransacked by the soldiers of Castrum Kremnos, the elders needed a bargaining chip to secure the safety of their village. Phainon, a young omega blessed by Kephale, is offered up as a bride to the recently widowed king, Mydei.
