“SONIC, DAMN IT LISTEN TO ME.”
In a way, Sonic was drowning in his own thoughts, until Shadow came to pull him out of the roaring waves. As Sonic came back to his senses and got his barings back, the first thing he noticed was Shadow kneeling in front of him, hands on his shoulders.
Eyes snapped into place to look at Shadow, his glossy black quills accented with that tantalizing crimson red, golden rings on his wrists in the corner of Sonic’s vision and the glowing ruby red eyes that stared back into his. The hybrid's eyes had something in them, something, some sort of emotion, an emotion the blue blur had never seen on his rival before.
Worry.

Sonic crashes out(more like dissociates, panic attack, and add a little wham-pam of selective mutism but tomato tomatoe) in Sonic Prime because i swear to fucking god i would have crashed the fuck out, like, i would not have helped everyone and would have gotten sick of explaining everything over and over again while at the same time having to fight off roboheads (give me head, WHAT WHO SAID THAT.), and idiots.
