For the past seven months, Mira and Zoey have been obsessed with the idea of getting a clear photo of Spider-Woman, Seoul’s very own superhero. In the beginning it was for their university photography course, but every photo they managed to take of her was a blur. Ever since then, they’ve devoted themselves to getting at least one good photo of the hero.
The only issue is: Rumi is Spider-Woman. Has been for two and a half years, and Mira and Zoey’s infatuation with getting a photo of her is really starting to stress her out.

That classic ‘I need you to help me pretend to my family that I’m in a relationship by bringing you home for the holidays’ fic, except all Celine wants to know is that Rumi has friends, and Rumi… hasn't really been concentrating on that aspect of her life. She wants to be promoted next year, she doesn't have time to make friends. Which is probably why the only people she can think to ask home for Christmas are the two women she had a threesome with six months ago.
Chaotic but established Zoey / Mira, workaholic lonely Rumi, supportive guardian angel Celine. A bit of silly semi-cracky Christmas fun. Will be coming at you like an advent calendar, with one scene a day through December until Christmas - but because chapters are based mostly on scenes they could be 500 words or 2000 words or anywhere in between - please expect zero consistency. Edelgard knows fear.
Fear is an excellent teacher and Edelgard is an excellent student. Edelgard allows fear to help her survive. She plans for each and every possibility, leaving nothing to chance. She could not afford such a risk. Everything she does is carefully calculated, there can be no mistakes. Fear demands such respect, such effort. Edelgard knows very well to listen.
But then, Edelgard meets Byleth.
With Byleth, Edelgard feels like she can let go of her fears. Its grip on her heart loosens. With Byleth, Edelgard feels fearless.

The three times that Edelgard falsely believes that she is fearless and the one time that Edelgard truly believes that she is.

Summary
Dorothea laughs. “Oh, Byleth. You always know exactly what to say.”
“Do I?” It always feels like she never knows what she’s saying.
“Yes. I can see why you’re our Emperor’s favourite.”
“Am I?” Byleth asks, surprised.
That earns her another melodic laugh out of the songstress. “You are,” she affirms with a smile.
“Do you think she’s happy?” Byleth murmurs, more to herself than anyone else. She glances over at her wife, who’s also smiling broadly at Petra. She has never looked so light and free before. Edelgard must sense her gaze because she looks up and her smile grows wider when their eyes meet.
Byleth smiles back.
Smiling feels good.
“I think she would be happy no matter where she is as long as she’s with you.”
