Summary
Right as Nick is about to be formally expelled from the HCP program, a flash of light takes him and several others, both friend and foe, to a strange white void. They are told they will not be able to leave this place until they have completed the task at hand, reading aloud the entirety of four seemingly blank books. But be wary who is friend and who is foe as secrets decades in the making will be revealed.
