“Ready to go?” Estelle looked over at him as soon as she heard him approach.
“Yes!” She said with a nod. “Let’s go and see what’s going on!” Her enthusiasm made Yuri snort before they made their way out the door and into the warmth of the summer night.
The trek to the garrison wasn’t long, due to the size of the still small town. Yuri followed Estelle through the door, turning his head to look back out onto the darkened streets as he felt a pinprick of awareness. Something didn't feel right. He didn’t have long to think too hard about it, because Estelle called out to him, bringing him out of his thoughts.
“Yuri?” She asked. He disregarded the feeling and turned back to his pink haired friend.
“I’m coming.” He assured, following her into the building and letting the door swing closed behind him.
