When the Ishiki threat looms over their heads, Sasuke and Naruto decide it would be easier to go back in time to prepare for the much larger threat of the Ōtsutsuki instead of coming up with a more reasonable plan.
Why? Well, Naruto decided he wanted to be a little selfish for a change and Sasuke jumped on that ship.
Or,
“Well, but it’s also about saving people, yeah?” Naruto tried to justify a bit too quickly as if trying to hide it as an afterthought.
“Okay, Madara,” Sasuke deadpanned.

Summary
The granite stone was both a memorial and the resting site for all those shinobi whose bodies were unable to be retrieved in the line of duty and Kakashi found himself standing in front of it. He carefully folded in his legs underneath him and placed the flowers respectfully at the base of the statue. "Sakura, it's been a long time." Deals with PTSD, torture, mature themes. Tentatively Complete.

Summary
Watching Naruto and Sasuke fight Kaguya from the sidelines was not as safe as it should have been. Blasted by the alien goddess, Kakashi and Sakura find themselves twenty-five years in the past. A familiar war is brewing and the village is filled with ghosts. Is it real or some strange version of the Infinite Tsukuyomi? With no way to know for sure, their options are limited. They should probably leave things alone, but familiar silver hair proves too great a temptation.
