Summary
Jake had noticed it long before he admitted it to himself.
Lo’ak wasn’t eating. Not properly. He lingered at meals, picked at his food, then disappeared before anyone could say anything. He spoke only when spoken to—and even then, barely. Most days he kept to the edges of the village, watching rather than joining, like he didn’t trust himself to take up space anymore.Bookmarked by RubyRose14

Summary
It happens like this: they kill Neteyam, and Lo’ak wishes it were him instead. They kill Neteyam, and Dad looks at him with those angry, hurt, ruined eyes, and Mom sobs, fury and grief, and Lo’ak wishes it were him instead. They kill Neteyam, and Lo’ak closes his eyes and hears the battle around him, the pulse of water at his chest, and wishes it were him instead.
And then - with a wrench, a pull, a deep tug in his gut - the ground is solid under his feet. The air is sweet, damp with trees. The sky is bright.
He’s home.Lo'ak lands 16 years in the past.

Summary
Dick and Bruce's relationship is strained at best after he moves out but the more time Dick spends with Jason the more his own tangled pack bonds call out for something more. When he finds his brother alone on the cusp of his first heat Dick will do anything to keep him safe and comfortable; and somewhere along the way he becomes the glue holding their little pack together.
Years later Jason has burned every bridge, he's lucky to even be allowed near the bats, so he takes any scraps of attention he can and tries to live with the grief of a lost pack. He's been struggling through his heats alone in one of his safe houses and hiding it from Bruce and the others when Dick finally gets tired of giving him space.
