Summary
“Oh, great, this fucking guy.” Dennis mutters under his breath.
“Whitaker!” he hears beside him, “so good to see you again, man.”
Dennis looks at his side as Michael Robinavitch stands there, tall, proud, and with a sardonic smirk plastered on his fucking face.
“You two know each other?” Doctor McKay asks the students, index finger pointing at the space between them both.
“Unfortunately.” they both say at the same time, Dennis with a groan and a roll of his blue eyes and Michael with that defying smirk painted on his thin lips.

Summary
There are cops in the ED when Dennis arrives for his shift.
Not necessarily unusual, sure, but he could've done without the unwelcome news that there's a knife-wielding maniac on the loose in their immediate vicinity.
Figures this would happen on a Monday.

Summary
"A carbonite slab was lashed to the wall to keep it from falling. The being inside appeared to be a male human or near human around the same age as Din. Their face was almost peaceful unlike most beings encased in carbonite. There also appeared to be grievous wounds in the chest, gut, and upper left thigh. The slab was older and not as sleek as the kind Din once used. A quick check of the being's vital signs showed whoever this was still lived--if barely. Din pulled up the being's chain code on the data display, and froze.
The read out clearly stated: Jaster Mereel."
Or Din finds a "collectible" art piece that turns out to be a thought dead once Mand'alor.

Summary
Dennis was just musing on whether he had enough money for a cab or if he had to walk an hour through Pittsburgh at night, when a warm, heavy hand landed on his shoulder.
“You good kid?”
Whitaker immediately tensed, recognizing the voice from hours before, and from when they first met in one of the emergency rooms of the ER.
The resident spun on his heels, facing the orthopedic surgeon with his usual nervous smile.“Doctor Park...!” The brown eyes that looked at him so pointedly whenever they met were somehow tamer. A softer shade. “It’s– I’m fine, I just missed my roommate going home.”
He softly dismissed the other’s weirdly concerning expression with a shake of his head, and he felt a loss when that hand slid from his shoulder back to its owner’s side. Doctor Park watched him intently before speaking again, like Whitaker was one of the cut-off limbs he came down to examine.
“Don’t be shy,” His voice was low, and weirdly teasing. “If you need a ride, my car’s right there.”

Or, the night when The Shark offers a ride home to local mouse boy, and it ends up being something else entirely, that neither of them expected.
