Summary
Condemned to a life of eternal confinement within the Digital Circus, Pomni falls into a vicious cyle of anger, bitterness, and depression. Dark clouds swirl all around. 2026 UPDATE: Guys. I won. I studied my butt off and earned all my certs. Quit my horrible, soul-sucking teaching job. Started SSRIs. Proposed to my girlfriend. We're engaged. We have a cat (she is cute). That has nothing to do with the story, but I love my fiancee and I love my cat and I love my life and I'm so excited and just felt like shouting it from the rooftops. ANYWAY. I finally feel like I'm ready to finish this little sapphic story. Will it take weeks? Months? Another year? I dunno. I'm still pretty busy, just...less depressed, I guess? But stay tuned. It will come when you least expect it, like a little gay thief in the night ;)

The silhouette of the large manta ray cast a small patch of shade down between the two, where curled up on the dusty ground was an Octarian soldier. Though to call it a ‘soldier’ was perhaps taking it a little too far considering the shape the poor figure seemed to be in. Gear busted beyond use, forming bruises and cuts littering any sickly pale skin that showed. Simply put, whoever this was it was safe to say they hadn’t won whatever fight had broken out.
