The third grade classes of Little Elementary in Lawrence, Kansas and Webster Elementary in Pontiac , Illinois were given a project to have a pen-pal. It was up to you if you wanted to keep writing or not. Castiel Novak and Dean Winchester are paired together for the project, and not ever having met before, start to write... and write... and write. As he neared the breakfast line he called out, “Good morning, ladies!” to the students working behind the counter and grabbed a tray. A dopey grin covered his face when he reached the platter of bacon. He piled his plate high, laughing when one of the students commented that he should probably eat a piece of fruit at least. Castiel liked the smile on him and when he laughed the corners of his eyes crinkled in a very attractive way. He blushed at the thought and turned back to his breakfast and the book laid out on the table in front of him. If he didn’t keep reading he would never finish the chapter before his first class.
