Eddie tilts his head, the smear of paint around his mouth cracking with the grin that blooms there.
“I'm working,” he says easily. “Entertaining the masses. Keeping you on your toes.” He steps back half a pace, sword hilt glinting as he slides it off his shoulder, letting it hang loose at his side. “You scare easy, Harrington.”
“I—” Steve’s throat clicks as he swallows the dregs of his fear. “You chased me.”
“Part of the job,” Eddie says with a shrug. “You ran. I followed. Great audience participation, by the way.”

A year after a blackout Halloween hookup, Steve Harrington gets dragged to Florida’s biggest haunted attraction—only to find himself tormented by one very real ghost from his past.

Summary
Wayne enters the room alone. “We only got two days to get out of town, so I better explain the plan.” He says as he takes a seat in the only chair in the room.
Steve looks sullen as he makes his way to the door. Wayne throws out a hand to stop him. “Son, you need to hear this too. The three of us are in this mess together.”
“Oh. I- uh, I didn’t think- I figured they would separate me.”
Eddie breathes a sigh of relief and silently thanks his uncle for being a good man. He pats the mattress next to his leg, “Take a seat, big boy.”
Or- Steve, Eddie and Wayne flee to a lakeside cabin to escape the accusations against Eddie after Vecna is dead and the Lab won’t own up to its mistakes.

“It’s Steve. Steve.” As he pushes his finger at Eddie’s chest.
“Steve. It’s just- just that you look an awful lot like-“ He chuckles “-never mind. Now, you said something about travel papers?” He grabs Wayne’s arm to bring him closer.
“Uh, yes. I’d like to go to Paris.”
Eddie blinks in disbelief. “You’d like to go to Paris?”
