Summary
“Messy little thing,” his voice came down and honeyed. Then, he swept his damped bangs aside, pulled a handkerchief out of his pocket, and tapped it gently on his forehead. He tilted his head, glancing at him. In a split second, Xia Fei was filled with a strange sensation, as if the redhead could see through his soul. He felt vulnerable, exposed. A hint of doubt flashed through the blond’s eyes, and he subconsciously uttered “Who are you?”
He carefully folded the piece of cloth and put it back in his coat pocket, his facial features softened, the smile still plastered to his lips. “I am who you want me to be,” he walked in circles around him, ogling him. “Your boss, your confidant, your friend…” he whispered in the shell of his ear “...your lover.”
Xia Fei’s world has turned upside down since Vein’s death. As much as he tries to keep it together, it’s hard when his mother is dealing with a terminal disease. One day, he receives the visit of a detective who challenges him to confront his past. What will Xia Fei do? Overcome his former boss’s demise or unravel the mystery that surrounds it?

Summary
Xia Fei has always been a simple person and while time has sketched him in bolder strokes, it has also made his imagery more reliant. Driven out of his mind with starvation, teetering at the edge of insanity, Xia Fei does the only thing his clouded mind can think of that does not involve the direct assassination of innocent civilians. A sunflower intuitively turning towards the light, he reaches out instinctually towards his sun. He isn’t even aware his fingers have pressed down on Vein’s contact number until he hears a familiar voice filtering out of his phone’s speaker.
“Felix? What is it?”
“Boss….” Xia Fei's mouth moves though he does not remember moving it. His voice a hazy and petulant whine played through walls of electrified water and static. He always feels so childish when faced with Vein, like a puppy begging at his heels for attention. “I’m dying, come save me, Boss.”
Xia Fei is a foolish young college student who's secretly a vampire and maybe Vein already knew this all along.

Lately, Cheng Xiaoshi had been catching an odd scent in the air.
It wasn’t particularly strong, but it lingered all around the studio, like a whisper tugging at the edge of his senses. This scent was rich, heady, and undeniably strong. Probably an alpha. But compared to his own, this scent was darker, deeper, with a pull that made his own alpha instincts twitch uncomfortably beneath his skin.

Summary
Every once in a while he catches a glimpse of himself, away from the cameras. In the moments where the unrest thrumming under the surface of his skin becomes too much. For as long as he can remember, deep-seated guilt smears his reflection: the raw, assailable image of Xia Fei.
He never notices when his breath first becomes uneven and his skin becomes clammy when he looks at himself for too long. With a deep breath, he does his best to shift back into the mirage everyone is expectant of him to be.Bookmarked by Satya_02

Summary
When Vein first laid eyes on Xia Fei, his traitorous heart stuttered in his chest. Simply out of minor infatuation with a pretty face, of course, but it was surprising enough to startle him. Xia Fei came to him as this awkward, reticent college student in need of a job and, despite the nervous energy vibrating his frame, seemed determined enough to be there.
“I heard you were hiring models here. So.” He keeps his eyes focused on something behind Vein’s head as he toys with the sleeve of jacket. “So here I am.”
Vein smiles, unable to contain his interest. “Here you are.”
