There is horror threatening to seep in around the edges. He’s in an airless ship with three dead astronauts and an insane computer. He just jettisoned Frank’s body into the depths of space. He’s a hundred million miles from home, and the communication antenna is broken.

Summary
It's only been a few days since Tenna and Spamton realized their feelings for each other are mutual, and Tenna is elated. They find themselves at Tenna's disused apartment to spend their first night together, giddy and eager. Everything goes swimmingly—until the middle of the night, when Tenna wakes up to find that Spamton is gone. He takes it about as well as you'd expect.

“Oh,” the voice says, as if hit by a sudden epiphany. “Oh! Could it be you’re angry because… you wanted to kiss him?”
He wishes the floor would open up and swallow him. He wishes he had never taken this deal. He wishes he simply could have been born right.
“Only… we both know you wouldn’t have, my dear. Like I said…” Breath on his ear, the ghost of pressure on his shoulder. “You’re a coward.”
“I wanted to,” Spamton breathes, barely. “I wanted to do it.”
Another audible grin.
“We know.”

Spamton's first kiss with Tenna doesn't go the way he hoped it would, and he has a few choice words for his benefactor. The voice on the phone doesn't mind demonstrating what dissent earns him.

Spamton deals with the aftermath of everything that happened in TV World, and then deals with the aftermath of the aftermath.
Namely, something underhanded that Tenna used to do that he may not have exactly had a problem with. A something that could help him make his brain calm down long enough to actually enjoy the peace he's found himself in.
