Summary
"Hey Lance,” Hunk called, already knowing where this was going. “BigBoi wants to know why you're bi."
Immediately, Lance sat up straight and laced the tips of his fingers together to try and appear more serious. "Well I started a thirty day free trial and forgot to cancel the subscription sooo.” He shrugged and waved his arms out, smiling smugly. “Here we are."
Hunk’s frown deepened, but his voice fell into a bored level of snark that they were all familiar with. "BeautyBoo said you just lost a subscriber."
Lance flung out a peace sign to the camera. "Byyyeee."
Snorting, Hunk shook his head at his friend, pleased to see him unbothered with the blatant bigotry and turned to Keith instead. "How about you, Keith? The fans are curious about you now."
Keith was looking away to the corner, not meeting anyone’s eyes and scowling harder than usual. "I'm not interested in dating," he said, low and controlled.
At that, Lance tsked and shook his head, making it harder for his poor makeup job to cover his mostly healed black eye in the changing light.
"And what a shame that is."

Summary
He was angry. So, very angry. He couldn’t believe Lance would hurt him like this, and yet, the proof was there underneath his pounding skin.
The fear, the anger, the hurt.
The betrayal.
Keith couldn’t stand it. So he had to go. He didn't know where he was going but he stormed over there regardless, his anger clouding his vision more than it should have for one, little slip up, one stupid question. But there was more to it, and Keith refused to acknowledge it. Because if he did, then he would have had to admit things that he wasn't ready for. Things that he knew couldn't happen. That despite all that, he had wanted to say yes.
So. Very. Badly.

Summary
The scowl was pretty much a permanent part of his face now. “Who are you?”
This new guy had a disarming smile. Not to be trusted. “I’m your new social worker.”
A scoff. Of course. “My third in as many years, this must be a new record.”
“Nah, I got you beat.” New guy held up his fingers. “I had four in one.”
The scowl remained unimpressed. “So that’s why they sent you? To have some sort of comradery or something?”
“Or something.” New guy held out a mangled hand to shake. “You can call me Shiro. Let's get you adopted, Keith.”

Summary
"It started innocently enough… at least that is what Caleb told himself.
The same question was asked every summer at the Wildmount Wildlings: “When are we ever actually going to use this?” Usually this question was posed during theory, but this year it was during the practicals. The hot and stuffy summer air had made some of the kids more irritable than others, and wizards were not known for their love of the outdoors. However, it wasn’t just any practical that bore this question, but immovable object, a spell with many applicable uses. To the dismay of all the children, Caleb stopped the lesson to list a few. It might have been dry, even boring perhaps after the spell casting, and the sun did not stop beating down, but creative thinking might save them in a pinch.
It started innocently enough. Caleb had no ulterior motives when he mentioned it to Essek a week later. "One summer, Caleb mentioned students having difficulty with the practical applications of immovable object. Essek knew a particular use that should not be discussed in mixed company. A private lesson in Graviturgy occurred, and a private lesson followed.

Summary
“You mean to train me like a dog, don’t you?” he grumbled after the cantrip expired for the fifth time. “Rewarding me with treats for each task completed.”
“Well, if you're going to criticize—” Essek sniffed, making a show of getting up to leave.
“No, no, it was not a criticism!” Laughing, Caleb threw up his hands in mock surrender. “I promise, I will be a good boy from now on!”

Summary
Caleb laughed as he kissed Essek’s cheek softly and fell back to continue his reading, “Don’t judge it till you try it.”
“If that is the case, then I will never be allowed to judge,” Essek absentmindedly flipped a page in his book.
“I’m not so sure. I can imagine you with dirt on your face and ink staining your hands.”
“Perish the thought,” was all Essek had to say on the matter before the two fell into a comfortable silence as they read.
The problem was that Caleb could not allow the thought to perish.Day 1- Ink
Caleb wastes some very fine ink, Essek tries to teach Caleb prestidigitation at the worst possible time, and both of them learn that sometimes messes are more fun together.

Summary
"You are mad," Essek muttered, nevertheless happily running his hands up the simulacrum's body. He glanced over at Caleb, as if to reassure himself he was still there—they exchanged brief smiles, Essek's face radiant—and then jerked his head back as the simulacrum started to kiss his neck. "Mad and maddening."
Caleb has been working on a new spell. Essek finds out.
