Summary
California, 2015.
Party looks at him, really looks. Heavy boots over dark jeans; black jacket, writing on the front of it; sunglasses on his head, over a mop of brown curls; a handsome face with kind eyes.
They put the gun down.

They brush his hair back from his face. It’s too long, just like Gerard’s and Jet’s. “Because I know you really well, kiddo. I can read you like a book. And I know how it feels.”
“Lonely,” Mikey mumbles. “Like no one’s gonna save me when you’re gone.”
“Is that what you dream about? Me leaving you?”

Summary
“C’mon, do it,” Jesse whined as he tilted his hips.
Walt ran his hands along Jesse’s thighs. “I don’t know what to do,” he was forced to admit.
“Uh, you stick it in?” Walt could almost hear him rolling his eyes. “Didn’t you, like, father children?”
“That’s not what I meant,” Walt snapped back. “I don’t want to hurt you,” he added more quietly.
Jesse stared up at him. It was too dark for Walt to make out his expression, especially without his glasses. “Since when have you cared about that?”
Season 3 AU. Walt agrees to let Jesse stay with him after rehab, but he’s caught off guard when Jesse moves from the couch to his bed. As their affair heats up, Walt thinks he'll be able to win Skyler back and keep Jesse on the side—but Jesse's got other plans.

Bookmarker's Notes
It had been an exercise in restraint, something Mike didn’t usually find challenging after so many years as a beat cop in Philly, but the kid he’d been training (if one could actually call dragging a brooding twenty-four-year-old around for nine and a half hours on drop site pick-ups as training) exhausted his patience in the extreme.

Summary
He fingers the glass vial in his pocket. Contemplates the half-empty bottle left carelessly beside his partner’s haphazard pile of street clothes – some sort of lurid, neon-colored energy drink; carbonated, with a strong taste of its own – and makes his decision.
It’s for Jesse’s own good.
(He tells himself this, and believes it. It’s the truth.)
And what he doesn’t know won’t hurt him.
--
An alternate take on the plot of S4, starting from Shotgun/Cornered. Rather than trying to poison Gus, Walt takes a different sort of drastic action to maintain his hold on Jesse.

Summary
The trial was a disaster beyond his darkest dreams.
Daeron had been as sober as he’d been in years, head aching and stomach roiling as flames danced before his closed eyes. The sensation of imminent doom had threatened to drop him where he sat, to make him heave and weep in a way that only a pitcher of wine would dull down, but he’d pulled on his helm all the same, had spurred his horse into action to face down Mad Robyn Rhysling, and the nightmare had begun.
Or: Daeron in the aftermath.

"But I threw open the gates.
I invited them in. I said, Help yourselves. Then watched
as they went room to room, taking, emptying
the shelves, sucking marrow from the bones,
and overhead, the sky filled with rain"
