“I know.” He repeats the response like it’s second nature, the wave of déjà vu hitting him as he watches her turn and walk out of the stables. In the darkness, in the absolute silence of the empty ship, he hears stitches he’d weakly sewn in his chest tear, the all to familiar wounds reopening after he’d worked so hard to seal them up again.

Summary
Navia doesn’t answer right away. She just gives Clorinde’s tattered clothes (the ones that Clorinde had found in Petronilla’s farmhouse) one last lookover.
Then Navia says, “If it weren't for those horrendous clothes, Clorinde, you might actually be pretty cute.”
Clorinde is shocked into silence. Evidently, so is Furina.
Navia giggles at their reaction. “Actually, nevermind,” she says haughtily, then walks away.
Clorinde stands there, flabbergasted. Meanwhile, Furina half-heartedly exclaims, “Welcome to Poisson!”
Or, Clorinde moves into a small town as a new farmer, and she encounters a familiar face.

“Get nightmares often, huh?”
Xiao looks at him, startled. It takes a moment before something like sullen understanding crosses his face. It’s resigned in a way Venti never is. “Sorry. You should get earplugs. I can’t control it.”
Venti is no good with sadness. It sits in him like a dead weight. He does whatever he can to push it out. "I don’t think those will really help,” Venti says with a laugh.
“The roommate swap is next week. I wouldn’t hold it against you if you left. My roommate last year did the same thing.”
Oh, shit.
Now he can’t leave.
