“Everything alright, Sunshine?” Shanks’ hand is on the back of his neck now, squeezing in a way that’s probably meant to be comforting but Luffy can only whine over it.
He’s so hard. His pants are wet. Like…. Wet wet. Oh god.
Luffy finally picks his head up to stare, though he doesn’t know where he gets the strength to do so, the man against him makes him all fuzzy and hot that Luffy genuinely feels stupid.
“How are you—”
Shanks’ dark eyes are watching him open and warm and tender, like he’s patiently waiting for Luffy to get it all out of his system. The trio of scars over his eye are slightly ragged in the way scars are meant to be. Real. Not smooth or two dimensional like on a wanted poster.
Shanks' breath is heavy with ale and wine and hot where it blows over Luffy’s face. Over his mouth.
